Juried Art Show: Uxhibition ’11
Uxbridge’s famous juried art show is an opportunity to view and purchase celebrated works of art from renowned GTA artists. Their submissions are judged by two invited jurors: for 2011 they are Astrid Ho, print maker, and John Leonard, painter. The juried art show is a multi-discipline arts program for the enjoyment of the residents of Uxbridge and surrounding communities. It brings attention to the richness of the artistic talent found in and around the township of Uxbridge.
For artists, this is an amazing chance to have your work evaluated by prominent jurors, to measure your work against other entries, have it displayed at the beautiful council chambers in Uxbridge, and exposed to an audience of more than two hundred people over the week’s display, and perhaps to sell your work.
Submission entries due: Friday, August 5, 2011 (download the form here). Works delivered to the Township offices: Sunday, September 18-Monday, September 19, 2011. Opening reception is @ 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The show runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., ending at 2 p.m. on Sunday.”
